修枝强度对不同林龄马尾松生长的影响
Effect of Pruning Intensity on Growths of Pinus massoniana at Different Stand ages

Abstract
In order to reveal effect of pruning on growths of Pinus massoniana at different stand ages,taking 3.5-year-old,4.5-year-old and 5.5-year-old P.massoniana plantations as research objects,1/3,1/2 and 2/3 pruning intensities were set up.DBHs and tree heights were monitored continuously for two years,and individu-al volumes were calculated to explore effects of different pruning intensities on DBH,tree height and individual volume of P.massoniana.Results showed that different pruning intensities had different effects on growths of P.massoniana at different stand ages.3.5-year-old P.massoniana had the highest proportion of positive rela-tive growth rate indexes(66.7%),followed by 5.5-year-old P.massoniana(55.6%),while 4.5-year-old P.mas-soniana had the lowest proportion of positive relative growth rate indexes(40.7%).Optimal pruning age for P.massoniana was 3.5 years.Pruning promoted growth of 3.5-year-old P.massoniana,with slightly better growth under 1/3 pruning intensity compared to 1/2 and 2/3 pruning intensities.Different pruning intensities obviously inhibited growth of 4.5-year-old P.massoniana.1/3 pruning intensity enhanced growth of 5.5-year-old P.mas-soniana,while 1/2 and 1/3 pruning intensities inhibited growth of 5.5-year-old P.massoniana.For pruning management of P.massoniana in Guangxi,it was recommended to prune at 3.5 years while avoiding pruning at 4.5 years.关键词
