Abstract

In order to understand distribution characteristics of contents and storages of soil organic carbon(SOC)and its active components in different soil layers of Erythrophleum fordii plantation,taking 60-year-old E.fordii plantation in southeastern Guangxi as research object,physical and chemical properties,contents and storages of SOC and active components in different soil layers(0-10,10-30,30-50 and 50-100 cm)were mea-sured.Results showed that soil of 60-year-old E.fordii plantation was strongly acidic.With increase of soil layer depth,pH significantly increased,while contents of available phosphorus(AP),total phosphorus(TP),al-kali-hydrolyzable nitrogen(AN),total nitrogen(TN),total potassium(TK),SOC and easily oxidized organic car-bon(EOC)as well as storages of SOC and EOC decreased,with the highest values observed in 0-10 cm soil layer.Soil bulk density,contents of available potassium(AK)and dissolved organic carbon(DOC)as well as DOC storage showed no significant differences among different soil layers.In 0-100 cm soil layers,SOC con-tents were significantly positively correlated with EOC contents.Soil of 60-year-old E.fordii plantation had stronger anti-interference ability,with DOC being less prone to lose,while EOC exhibited better stability.
