摘要

Abstract

Objective To study the changes in vessel flow density(FD)of macular capillary plexus in the superfi-cial and deep layers of optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)in patients with diabetic macular edema(DME)after anti vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)treatment.Methods A retrospective case-control study.80 patients(122 eyes)with DME who visited Xiangya Second Hospital of Central South University from April 2020 to November 2023 were collected as the experimental group,and 26 patients(26 eyes)with non macular edema in the same period were se-lected as the control group.The experimental group underwent intravitreal injection of Conbercept,recording the area of the foveal avascular zone(FAZ),the circumference of the FAZ,and 300 μm adjacent to the FAZ(FD300)before and one month after injection.Analyze the differences in OCTA parameters such as mean capillary flow density within the 6×6 mm scan area,superficial capillary plexus(SCP),deep capillary plexus(DCP),and macular central retinal thickness(CMT)before and after injection.Results Compared with the control group,the experimental group showed statistically signifi-cant differences in additonal SCP-FD,DCP-FD and CMT,except for the superficial foveal capillary plexus FD in the 9-zone grid(all P<0.05).Compared between pre-treatment and 1-month post anti-VEGF therapy,the experimental group showed statistically significant differences in both superficial and deep foveal capillary plexus FD and CMT(all P<0.05).No statistically significant differences were observed in remaining parameters(all P>0.05).Conclusions The SCP-FD,DCP-FD and CMT parameters of OCTA demonstrate the potential as novel imaging indicators for monitoring DME progres-sion before and after anti VEGF treatment.
