Abstract
Objective By comparing the measurement results of the rapid myopia screening device with the stan-dard visual acuity chart and computer optometry instrument,analyze the differences and correlations between the different methods.Methods Prospective acohort study.Randomly select 4 grades of students from 2 primary schools and 1 junior middle school as research subjects,with 1 class randomly selected for each grade.Use a rapid myopia screening device to measure refractive power and obtain simulated naked eye vision,standard vision table to measure uncorrected vision acu-ity,and computer refractometer to measure refractive power.Compare the differences and correlations between uncorrected vision acuity and equivalent spherical lens power obtained by different methods.Results This study screened a total of 158 students,including 79 males and 79 females,with an average age of(11.15±1.502)years old.There was no statisti-cally significant difference(P>0.05)between the uncorrected vision acuity obtained by the rapid myopia screening instru-ment and the standard vision chart in each grade and overall subgroup.The uncorrected vision acuity results of the two in-struments showed a strong positive correlation(r=0.8717,P<0.05).The equivalent spherical lens power measured by the rapid myopia screening instrument and the computer refractometer showed no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)in each grade and overall subgroup,and the equivalent spherical lens power results of the two instruments showed a strong positive correlation(r=0.8941,P<0.05).Conclusions There was no statistically significant difference in the measure-ment results betweendifferentmethods,and the results were strongly correlated.Both verified the credibility of the measure-ment.Results of this study provide data support for its application in large-scale screening.关键词
