Quality Inspection and Evaluation of Meteorological Observation Data for Wind Turbine Towers in Wind Farms

Abstract
Based on the meteorological observation data and wind turbine hub wind data from the 25 measurement towers at 12 wind farms in Shaanxi Province from 2017 to 2024,the data authenticity of the measurement tower data is verified,and the data integrity rate and effective data integrity rate,et al,are calculated according to the relevant technical specifrications.The effective data integrity rate is divided into five levels to evaluate the data quality,and the time variation characteristics of the effective data integrity rate of five typical wind power plants are analyzed to explore the reasons for the low data quality.The results show that the data quality of temperature in the 12 wind farms is the highest,and the data quality of wind,especially the wind measurement tower wind,is the worst.The effective data integrity rate of each element of the wind measurement tower in 5 typical wind farms is poor in winter,which is related to the phenomena such as low daily average temperature and frequent cold air activity leading to icing of observation equipment in winter.Suggestions are proposed in this paper such as installing heatable ice melting wind measurement equipment and insensitive ultrasonic wind measurement equipment or laser wind radar in wind farms in areas prone to icing.关键词
