Abstract
This paper investigates the geological disasters in Dianga Town,Gansu Province, and finds that landslides, collapses, debris flows, and other disasters occur frequently in this area, posing a severe threat to the lives and property of local residents.Through in-depth analysis of the types, quantities, and distribution patterns of geological disasters,it is revealed that debris flows are the primary disaster type and are mostly distributed in an asymmetrical belt along the banks of the Bailong River. The temporal distribution of geological disasters aligns with the periodic changes in rainfall, with over 90%occurring during the rainy season from June to October. These disasters have resulted in damage to houses, infrastructure, and casualties, causing significant economic losses. Therefore, strengthening geological disaster monitoring and early warning and improving disaster prevention and mitigation capabilities are of great significance for safeguarding the lives and property of local people. This study provides scientific evidence and technical support for the local government's efforts in disaster prevention and mitigation.关键词
