RANSLATION OF YI ETHNIC WEDDING DRESS PATTERNS IN MEIGU COUNTY AND MODERN WEDDING PRODUCT DESIGN

Abstract
Taking the wedding dress patterns of the Yi ethnic group in Meigu County,Liangshan,Sichuan Province as the research object,analyzing their patterns and color matching rules,and designing wedding cultural and creative products with local characteristics.By analyzing the basic structure and patterns of wedding dresses through literature review,applying cultural gene theory to analyze the dominant and recessive genes of wedding dress patterns,constructing a pattern lineage map,and finally designing regional wedding cultural and creative products using Meigu Yi wedding dress images as representations.Combining design theory to verify the rationality and feasibility of the Meigu Yi ethnic wedding dress patterns in modern life aesthetics.By summarizing and analyzing the patterns,colors,and symbolic meanings of Yi wedding dresses in Meigu County,innovative wedding products were created using modern design translation techniques.The aesthetic characteristics and artistic value of Meigu Yi wedding dresses were discovered,providing a modest contribution to the inheritance of Yi culture.关键词
