Abstract
A combination of in vitro and in vivo tests was used to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a serum containing a combination of whitening and soothing effects.The anti-inflammatory efficacy test was conducted by using mouse macrophages to establish an inflammation model,and the efficacy performance and safety of the serum in humans were evaluated by using the UV-induced human skin darkening model of the expectorant whitening efficacy test method and the subjective evaluation test method of consumers.The results showed that the serum could significantly inhibit the expression of inflammatory factors(IL-1β,IL-6);compared with the negative control area,the visual score of skin color,individual type angle(ITA value),and melanin index(MI value)in the test product area were significantly improved;compared with the pre-use period,the subjective scores of the volunteers for each evaluation index increased significantly after using the product for 4 weeks.The above results indicate that the serum has certain whitening and soothing efficacy and good safety.关键词
