Abstract
The feasibility of zebrafish modeling as an evaluation method for cosmetic eye irritation was investigated,and several commonly used surfactants and toiletry products were evaluated for eye irritation by this method.The zebrafish eye irritation model was constructed,and the changes in the morphology of the zebrafish embryo eye were observed by using somatoscopic microscopy to evaluate the irritation of the subject,and two evaluation indexes,the pupil diameter and the ratio of the pupil diameter to the iris bandwidth,were selected.The results showed that the zebrafish-pupil diameter to iris bandwidth ratio method was deficient;the experimental results of the changes in the size of the zebrafish pupil diameter had a high degree of overlap with the results of the chick embryo chorionic villus allantoic membrane test.At the same time,the test substance was able to inhibit the zebrafish pupil diameter,and the size of its pupil diameter was negatively correlated with the irritation of the testsubstance.The zebrafish model can be used for the evaluation of cosmetic eye irritation,providing a rapid and efficient test for product development.关键词
