Abstract
The principle,characteristics,and the skin LC-OCT imaging features of the line field confocal optical coherence tomography(LC-OCT)imaging technology have been introduced.This review focuses on the application of LC-OCT in the efficacy evaluation of cosmetic whitening and anti-spot,anti-wrinkle and firming,and anti-aging,as well as skin safety evaluation.The characteristics of LC-OCT in various applications are discussed.At the same time,the differences in the whitening and anti-spot,anti-wrinkle and firming,and anti-aging effects,as well as skin safety of cosmetics have been compared between the conventional evaluation method and the new evaluation method LC-OCT.The results show that LC-OCT is becoming an optional high-resolution non-invasive skin imaging technology,which can capture the images of skin in any part of the body,and is especially suitable for the cosmetic efficacy evaluation and skin safety evaluation.Finally,the development direction and application prospect of LC-OCT in the evaluation of cosmetic efficacy and skin safety are proposed.关键词
