Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of percutaneous pedicle screw fixation(PPSF)combined with percutaneous vertebroplasty(PVP)in patients with single segment osteoporotic verebral thoracolumbar compression fracture(OVCF).Methods:The data of 98 patients with single segment OVCF treated in Shanghe County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August 2022 to April 2024 were retrospectively analyzed,and they were divided into a study group and a control group according to the different surgical methods,with 49 cases in each group.The control group was treated with PVP,and the study group was treated with PPSF combined with PVP.The perioperative indexes,high compression ratio of anterior vertebra,Cobb angle of kyphotic vertebra,vertebral function,pain degree and occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results:The operation time of the study group was longer than that of the control group,and the amount of intraoperative blood loss was higher than that of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in hospital stay between the two groups(P>0.05).At 3 months after surgery,the compression ratio of anterior vertebra height and the Cobb angle of kyphosis of injured vertebra in both groups were lower than those before surgery,and the study group was lower than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 3 months after operation,the Oswestry Disability Index and scores of pain Numeric Rating System in both groups were lower than those before surgery,and the scores in the study group were lower than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The incidence of operative complications in the study group and the control group were 6.12%and 2.04%,respectively,with no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Although PPSF combined with PVP in the treatment of patients with single segment OVCF can prolong the operation time and increase the amount of intraoperative blood loss to a certain extent,but it can improve the high compression rate of the injured vertebral front and the Cobb angle of the injured kyphotic vertebra,promote the recovery of vertebral function and pain symptoms,and has certain treatment safety.关键词
