基于多横模VCSEL的时延隐藏混沌信号产生
Time-delay signature concealment of chaos generated by multi-transverse mode vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser

Abstract
To enhance the security of chaotic secure communication,the temporal and spectral characteristics of multi-transverse-mode vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers(VCSELs)under different feedback strengths are investigated through both simulations and experiments.The system's output is observed to evolve from free-running operation to single-period,multi-period,and ultimately to a chaotic state.At the same time,it is found that the spatial intensity distribution and optical path associated with the multi-transverse mode affect the time-delay signature of the chaotic output.A chaotic signal with concealed time-delay features is successfully generated.Under planar mirror optical feedback,a VCSEL laser emitting three transverse modes produces a chaotic signal with a bandwidth of 2.68 GHz and an output power of 1 mW,while effectively concealing the time-delay characteristics.Such time-delay-concealed chaotic signal can be employed as a carrier to significantly enhance the security of chaos-based communication systems.关键词
