Latent profile analysis of feminist identity among undergraduate nursing students and its relationship with achievement motivation

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the latent profiles and influencing factors of feminist identity among undergraduate nursing students and to explore its relationship with achievement motivation.Methods:From September to October 2024,a stratified sampling method was employed to select 552 female nursing students from a university in Shanxi province.A questionnaire survey was conducted using a general information survey,Feminist Identity Development Scale,and the Achievement Motive Scale.The latent profiles of feminist identity were further explored,and an analysis of influencing factors was carried out.Moreover,the relationship between feminist identity and achievement motivation was further discussed.Results:Feminist identity among undergraduate nursing students was categorized into the moderate identity(24%),the actively developing identity(49%),and the proactive identity(27%).Multivariate analysis showed that the family location had an impact on the latent profiles.There were statistically significant differences in terms of the scores of the motivation to pursue success among undergraduate nursing students of three different profiles(P<0.05).Conclusions:Feminist identity among undergraduate nursing students demonstrates group heterogeneity and positively influences achievement motivation.Educators should implement targeted educational programs based on these findings to foster the development of feminist identity among nursing students and enhance their levels of achievement motivation.关键词
