Abstract
The experiment was conducted to study the effects of fermented cassava residue on the growth performance,slaughter performance,nutrients apparent digestibility,and immune function of small-tailed Han sheep.144 small-tailed Han sheep with similar age,uniform body condition and weight of(36.32±1.27)kg were selected and randomly divided into four groups with six replicates in each group and 6 small-tailed Han sheep in each replicate.The control group was fed the basal diet,and the proportion of fermented cassava residue instead of silage corn in the basal diet in the experimental group was 15%,30%and 45%,respectively.The pre-test lasted for seven days and the formal test lasted for 60 days.The results showed that the final weight and average daily gain of small-tailed Han sheep in the 30%replacement group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the feed to weight ratio was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The pre-mortem live weight and carcass weight of small-tailed Han sheep in the 30%replacement group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The slaughter rate of small-tailed Han sheep in 30%and 45%replacement groups was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The apparent digestibility of dry matter,crude protein,and neutral detergent fiber in the 30%and 45%replacement groups were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The apparent digestibility of total energy of small-tailed Han sheep in the three experimental groups was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The content of interleukin-1β in serum of small-tailed Han sheep in 30%and 45%replacement groups was significantly lower than that in control group(P<0.05).The results show that the use of fermented cassava residue instead of silage corn in the diet of small-tailed Han sheep can improve the growth performance and slaughter performance of small-tailed Han sheep,and improve the nutrients apparent digestibility and immune function of small-tailed Han sheep,and the best effect is achieved when the replacement amount of fermented cassava residue is 30%.关键词
