An Evaluation of the Alignment between Professional Structure and Industrial Structure in Higher Vocational Education in Shaanxi Province

Abstract
As a critical component of regional economic development,higher vocational education must proactively align with the demands of industrial evolution and contribute to the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure.This study focuses on northern,central,and southern Shaanxi,employing the entropy weight method to assess the development level of higher vocational education in each region.Additionally,the coordination degree model is utilized to quantify the systematic alignment between the professional structure of higher vocational education and the regional industrial structure.The findings indicate that there are significant regional disparities in the coordination levels between the professional structure of higher vocational education and the regional industrial structure within Shaanxi Province.Furthermore,there remains considerable room for improvement in the congruence between professional settings and industrial requirements across the regions.Based on these insights,this paper proposes several recommendations,including optimizing the professional structure,deepening university-enterprise collaboration,and promoting regional resource sharing and collaborative development,to provide guidance for the synergistic advancement of higher vocational education and regional industries in Shaanxi Province.关键词
