摘要
Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation with different levels of small peptide-chelated iron on the growth performance, blood routine indices, and immune function in weaned piglets.A total of 240 healthy 21-day-old weaned piglets were randomly assigned to four groups with six replicates per group,10 piglets per replicate.Piglets in the control group were fed a corn-soybean meal basal diet, and piglets in the test groups were fed diets supplemented with 50(test group 1),100(test group 2)and 200 mg/kg(test group 3)small peptide-chelated iron, respectively. The pre-test period was 1 week and the formal test period was 4 weeks. The results showed that compared to the control group, the number of red blood cells in the blood in test group 2 was significantly increased(P<0.05),the hematocrit in test groups 1 and 2 was significantly increased(P<0.05),the hemoglobin concentration in test groups was significantly increased(P<0.05),and the average volume of red blood cells in test groups 2 and 3 was significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the serum immunoglobulin A(IgA)and immunoglobulin G(IgG)concentrations in test groups 2 and 3 were significantly increased(P<0.05),and the serum immunoglobulin M(IgM)and CD8+lymphocyte concentrations in experimental groups were significantly increased(P<0.05).Serum interleukin-10(IL-10)and CD4+lymphocyte concentrations in test group 2 were significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared with control group, the serum ferritin content in experimental groups was significantly increased(P<0.05).The results show that dietary supplemented with appropriate amount of small peptide-chelated iron can improve the growth performance and immunity of piglets, and the best effect is when the level of small peptide-chelated iron is 100 mg/kg.关键词
