摘要

Abstract

The rapid development of generative artificial intelligence(GAI)offers new opportunities for the digital transformation of the liquefied natural gas(LNG)industry,and proactive research and arrangement are recommended.This paper analyzes the application of GAI in the LNG industry from two perspectives:production and operation,as well as demand and application.In light of the latest developments of GAI,the paper also explores its future trends,and puts forward suggestions.In production and operation areas,with strong generalization ability and recent research breakthroughs,GAI shows greater potential in optimizing key sections such as exploration and development,liquefaction,transportation,and regasification.This,in turn,can further improve production efficiency,reduce operation costs,strengthen safety management,and ensure stable operation.In demand and application fields,it is expected that the development of GAI will increase the demand for LNG and expand its application scenarios such as cold energy,through pathways like data centers.Chinese energy companies are advised to strengthen strategic research,promote industrial empowerment,explore business innovation,and expand win-win cooperation,to better achieve digitalization,intelligentization and high-quality development.
