摘要

Abstract

The hydrogen-helium separation column is primarily used to separate high-purity helium gas from the tail gas of natural gas liquefaction.In practical applications,the bypass flow phenomenon leads to uneven gas flow within the column,causing some gas to insufficiently contact the hydrogen storage alloy,which affects the separation purity and recovery rate of helium.To achieve a uniform flow field in the hydrogen-helium separation column,the internal structure of the column was modeled based on the RNG k-ε turbulence model,and the gas flow characteristics and structure were simulated and analyzed using Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)technology.Key parameters such as gas flow velocity,distributor orifice plate tilt angle,and hydrogen concentration were studied to evaluate their im-pact on the flow field uniformity in the hydrogen-helium separation column.The results showed that by optimizing these key parameters,the flow field uniformity in the hydrogen-helium separation column was significantly im-proved.The relative standard deviation(CV)was reduced from 45.83%to 33.59%,and the uniformity index(γv)increased from 82.21%to 85.46%.
