Main Contents,Advantages and Enlightenment of Steering Higher Education for Community Engagement
摘要
Abstract
In order to enhance the role of higher education in serving social development,since 2018,Europe has implemented the Steering Higher Education for Community Engagement(SHEFCE).Based on four tools presented in the document of the dimension of engagement,levels of engagement,institutional community-engagement heatmap,and SLIPDOT analysis,European universities can analyze the effectiveness of the social service practices and reflect on existing problems in a systematic way.SHEFCE not only highlights the context-dependent of social service types and the diversity of practical validity levels,but also emphasizes the consensus paradigm and evidence-based reflection as well as coordinates the local and global value perspectives.Chinese universities should continue to improve the policy system and institutionalization of social service practices on the basis of further understanding the connotation and extension of social service practices,and encourage non-governmental academic organizations to become the main body of building the social service practice evaluation system.关键词
