摘要
Abstract
The increasing scarcity and high cost of fishmeal have led to a continuous rise in aquaculture production costs,hindering the further development of Chinese aquaculture industry.Therefore,seeking alternative protein sources to replace fishmeal is crucial for the sustainable development of aquaculture.Earthworms are widely distributed terrestrial annelids that thrive in soil and feed on livestock manure and organic waste.Their unique living habits can loosen and improve soil,enhance soil fertility,and promote crop yield.Earthworms are with high protein content and amino acid composition similar to fishmeal,making them a high-quality fishmeal substitute.The article reviews the nutritional components of different earthworm species and the factors influencing their nutritional content,explores the current applications,limitations,and improvement strategies of earthworms and their processed products in aquaculture,and provides insights for the development and optimization of earthworms and their processed products as fishmeal substitutes in aquaculture,aiming to support the sustainable development of Chinese aquaculture industry.关键词
