Abstract

During the measurement of physiological electrical signals,the target signal is often disturbed by various noises,including external electromagnetic field interference and other internal physiological electrical signal interference,the most serious of which is power frequency interference.These noise interferences will bring great inconvenience to the analysis and processing of physiological electrical signals.Therefore,a noise reduction method based on adaptive Kalman filter is proposed to eliminate the noise interference such as power frequency mixed in physiological electrical signals.The advantages of adaptive filtering in dynamic weight adjustment and the accuracy of Kalman filtering in state estimation are fully used to accurately identify and process target signals and noises.The electrocardiogram(ECG),the electrooculogram(EOG)and the electromyogram(EMG)collected in the ordinary experimental environment are processed,and the time domain waveform and spectrum before and after the algorithm processing is observed,so as to test for the effectiveness of the adaptive Kalman filter in the noise reduction of physiological electrical signal.The results show that the designed adaptive Kalman filter can effectively eliminate noise interference such as power frequency(including fundamental frequency and harmonic components),make the target signal clearer and cleaner,and do not damage the useful components of the target signal.The average decrease of the spectral value at 50 Hz is not less than 49.31 dB.The adaptive Kalman algorithm can be applied to a variety of different physiological electrical signals only by adjusting some parameters,which can effectively filter out the power frequency and other noise interference mixed in the original signal.The noise reduction performance is stable and the computational complexity is low,which provides a more effective solution for the analysis and processing of physiological electrical signals.
