摘要
Abstract
Condensed tannin(CT)is a kind of polyphenolic pigment compound,also known as proanthocyanidins,widely found in grapes,sorghum,nuts and other plants,with anti-inflammatory,antioxidant and other biological effects.Among them,the antioxidant effect of CT plays an important role in animal production.Appropriate amount of CT plays an antioxidant effect by scavenging free radicals in animals and protecting cells from oxidative damage,thereby improving animal immunity and reducing morbidity,thus promoting the green and healthy development of animal husbandry.This article reviewed the antioxidant effects of CT and its effects on intestinal parasites,rumen microorganisms,meat quality and growth performance,and discussed the multiple biological effects of CT in ruminants and its application potential,so as to provide reference for rational use of CT.关键词
