Abstract
Educated:A Memoirtruly records how the narrator Tara Westover achieved the transformation process from an ignorant girl to a doctoral scholar.This transformation was mainly realized through three major aspects:the narrators'self-redemption,educational redemption and social redemption.Tara's path of self-redemption was to gradually break free from the shackles of her extremely religious Mormon family of origin by awakening self-awareness and cultivating psychological resilience.Tara's path of educational redemption revealed the crucial role of education in Tara's self-growth and cognitive improvement,as well as how to realize self-worth through education.Tara's path of social redemption demonstrated the social support network that Tara built during her pursuit of education and how these social relationships helped her cope with difficulties and achieve self-redemption.Through Tara's story,we can realize the importance of the awakening of self-awareness,the key role of education in self-actualization,and the influence of the social support network in the process of life growth.关键词
