川西地区中二叠统栖霞组储层特征及成因机制
Reservoir characteristics and genetic mechanism of the Qixia Formation in western Sichuan

Abstract
In recent years,multiple exploration breakthroughs have revealed significant resource potential in the Qixia Formation of the Sichuan Basin.Understanding the sedimentary characteristics and reservoir formation mechanism of the Qixia Formation in the Longmen Mountai foreland area of western Sichuan is of great significance for guiding future oil and gas exploration.This study integrates field outcrop profiles,drilling,logging,and seismic data to investigate the sedimentary and reservoir characteristics of the Qixia Formation in the Longmen Mountain foreland zone of western Sichuan.Analytical methods include core observation,conventional and cast thin section identification,scanning electron microscopy,cathodoluminescence,and porosity-permeability testing.Based on these analyses,the reservoir formation mechanisms are further explored.The results show that the Qixia Formation in the Longmen Mountain foreland in western Sichuan can be vertically divided into two fourth-order sequences.The first member of Qixia Formation is located on a moderate to gentle slope.The second member of Qixia Formation is characterized by high-energy shallow shoal sedimentation on a gentle inner ramp.The reservoir lithology is dominated by fine-to medium-crystalline dolomite.The primary reservoir space types are residual intergranular dissolution pores,intergranular dissolution pores,and fractures.Vertically,reservoirs are mainly developed in the middle to upper parts of the high-level system tract,while laterally they are primarily distributed in the northern and southern sections of the Longmen Mountain foreland belt.The development of thick and shallow-water high-energy shoal facies provides the geological foundation for reservoir formation.The quasi contemporaneous dissolution process generates a large number of structure-selective dissolution pores,which is key to reservoir development.Shallow buried thermal convection seawater dolomitization enhances the rock resistance to compaction,contributing to porosity preservation.This study clarifies the reservoir characteristics and genetic mechanisms of Qixia Formation in Western Sichuan,and strategic guidance for further exploration.关键词
