Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of palliative care on the psychological state and quality of life in patients with advanced lung cancer.Methods A total of 84 patients with advanced lung cancer at Zhengzhou Ninth People's Hospital,from January 2021 to December 2024,were randomly divided into two groups,with 42 patients in each group.The control group received routine care,while the observation group received palliative care in addition to routine care.The intervention period for both groups was one month.The Brief Profile of Mood States(BPOMS),Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Lung(FACT-L),Self-Perceived Burden Scale Chinese version(SPBS-CP),and Visual Analog Scale(VAS)scores were compared between the two groups.Results After the intervention,BPOMS positive mood scores increased in both groups,with the observation group scoring higher than the control group,a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Negative mood scores decreased,with the observation group scoring lower than the control group,a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).FACT-L scores across all dimensions increased in both groups post-intervention,with the observation group showing higher scores than the control group,a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).SPBS-CP scores across all dimensions decreased post-intervention in both groups,with the observation group showing lower scores than the control group,a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).VAS scores decreased in both groups post-intervention,with the observation group scoring lower than the control group,a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Palliative care can improve the mood,reduce pain and the burden of self-perception,and enhance the quality of life in patients with advanced lung cancer.It is worthy of clinical application.关键词
