Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of triple quality control management on improving infection control levels in the sterilization supply room at Zhoukou Yongshan Hospital.Methods The study was conducted from January 1,2019,to January 31,2023.The observation group implemented triple quality control management from February 1,2021,to January 31,2023.A total of 36 nursing staff,1,100 sterilization samples,and 900 patients were sampled.The control group,which did not implement triple quality control management from January 1,2019,to January 31,2021,also had 36 nursing staff,1,100 sterilization samples,and 900 patients sampled.The two groups were compared in terms of management quality survey scores,compliance of medical device management,and the incidence of hospital infections.Results The management quality survey scores and compliance rate of medical device management in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,while the incidence of hospital infections was lower in the observation group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).Conclusion Implementing triple quality control management in the sterilization supply room can enhance management levels and quality of medical device management,reduce the incidence of hospital infections,and ensure medical safety.关键词
