摘要

Abstract

The Shanghuofang area in Keshiketeng Banner,Inner Mongolia,is situated within the central-southern segment of the Greater Khingan Mountains and falls into the Guyuan-Hongshanzi uranium-molybdenum metallogenic belt.This region exhibits exceptional metallogenic geological conditions.In recent years,uranium-molybdenum exploration efforts in the Shanghuofang area have faced substantial challenges due to thick Quaternary sediment cover and extensive basalt coverage at the surface.In order to make a breakthrough in exploration,this study made a comprehensive geophysical survey by using soil-Rn measurement to roughly determine the radioactive characteristics of the structural fracture zone and the surface radioactive feature,High-power IP measurement to quickly identify the polarization anomalies related to uranium-molybdenum deposit,high-precision magnetic methods to measure and delineate the magnetic anomalies within the area,to identify contact zones between different rock masses,to infer and delineate the fault related to mineralization,and the favorable mineralization locations in basalt covered areas;CSAMT measurement to identify the geological structure of the working area,the deep characteristics of granite porphyry and rhyolite porphyry,the location and occurrence and deep extension of fault structures etc.based on the combination of different geophysical methods and comprehensive analysis and interpretation of anomalies,this article finally delineated the favorable locations for uranium polymetallic mineralization.Drilling verification was conducted in these favorable locations,revealing promising uranium molybdenum ore bodies.The study concluded that the geophysical method combination of"high-precision magnetic measurement+IP measurement+Soil-Rn measurement+CSAMT"was succeeded in the uranium-molybdenum exploration in the thickly covered areas of Shanghuofang and provided an effective technical means for future prospecting of uranium-molybdenum deposits in similar geological settings.
