Latest research progress on the effects of inflammation in diabetic macular edema
摘要
Abstract
Diabetic macular edema(DME)is a severe complication of diabetic retinopathy,with a complex pathogen-esis involving such factors as the disruption of the blood-retinal barrier,changes in hemodynamics,and inflammation.In-flammation is one of the most basic pathological and physiological processes in the human body,a defensive response to harmful stimuli or damage,and a form of resistance to diseases by the body.It has been found in recent years that inflam-mation plays a significant role in the pathogenesis of DME,offering new insights and methods for the treatment of DME.This article aims to review the latest research progress on the effects of inflammation in DME.关键词
