摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of intratympanic injection of dexamethasone in patients with sudden hearing loss(SHL)and provide a reference for clinical practice. Methods Sixty SHL patients treated at The Second People's Hospital of Anyang from January 2020 to September 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a control group(n=30)and a study group(n=30).The control group received conventional treatment, while the study group received intratympanic injection of dexamethasone. The clinical efficacy, clinical symptom scores, pure tone thresholds, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The study group had a higher effective treatment rate compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After treatment, scores for tinnitus, ear fullness, and vertigo decreased in both groups, with the study group showing lower scores than the control group, indicating statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Post-treatment pure tone thresholds at 0.5 kHz,1.0 kHz,and 2.0 kHz decreased in both groups, with the study group exhibiting lower thresholds than the control group, demonstrating statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of intratympanic injection of dexamethasone in SHL treatment can improve clinical efficacy, enhance clinical symptoms, lower pure tone thresholds, and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.关键词
