Research Progress on the Effect of Key Drugs on Reproductive Performance of Sows during Periparturient Period
摘要
Abstract
Periparturient period is a transitional stage for sows to change from gestation to lactation.Sows experience three physiological periods of gestation-delivery-lactation in a short period of time,and the hormones,metabolism and other aspects of the body have undergone drastic changes.Influenced by a variety of factors,sows are in a highly stressful state and are prone to adverse effects on themselves and their piglets.Therefore,different key drugs during the periparturient period are very important to maintain the health of sows and good reproductive performance.This paper reviews the periparturient management of sows and the effects of different key drugs during the periparturient period on the delivery of sows and piglet viability,aiming to provide a theoretical basis for optimising the periparturient drug management techniques for sows.关键词
