摘要

Abstract

Bacillus coagulans has the characteristics of both lactic acid bacteria and bacillus,and produces a variety of metabolites such as L-lactic acid,bacteriocin,amylase,etc.,and at the same time,it has the characteristics of high temperature resistance,bile salts,acid and alkali resistance,and bacterial inhibition.In recent years,Bacillus coagulans has become a new type of feed additive and is widely used as an alternative to antibiotics in livestock production.Studies have shown that feeding Bacillus coagulans can enhance the growth performance of livestock and poultry,regulate the balance of intestinal microbiota,improve immunity,and promote intestinal absorption of nutrients.This paper reviews the research progress of Bacillus coagulans in recent years in terms of its probiotic function,spore-producing characteristics and its application in animal husbandry,aiming to provide research ideas for the in-depth elucidation of the probiotic mechanism of Bacillus coagulans,and to provide technical support for its effcient application in the animal husbandry industry.
