Research Progress on the Effect and Application of Plant Polyphenols on Growth and Intestinal Health of Piglets
摘要
Abstract
The intestinal tract is the main place for the digestion and absorption of nutrients,and is an important line of defense to prevent bacteria and endotoxins from invading the intestinal lumen,and the intestinal mucosa and its symbiotic flora are of great significance for maintaining the integrity of the intestinal barrier.Plant polyphenols are a kind of natural,green,pollution-free and renewable plant secondary metabolites with physiological functions such as antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,antiviral and immunomodulatory.In recent years,plant polyphenols have shown significant application value in improving the nutrient absorption effciency and feed conversion rate of piglets.In this paper,the mechanism and research progress of plant polyphenols regulating growth performance and intestinal health of piglets were reviewed,in order to provide a theoretical reference for further research and application of polyphenols in piglets.关键词
