Effect of Shema Oral Liquid Combined with Suspension for Inhalation on Immune Function and Expression of TLR2 Signaling Pathway in Peripheral Blood of Children with Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Pneumonia

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of Shema Oral Liquid combined with Suspension for Inhalation on immune function and Toll-like receptor 2(TLR2)signaling pathway in the peripheral blood of children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia.Methods A total of 104 children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia admitted to the Yuexi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group by the random number table method,with 52 cases in each group.The children in the two groups were treated with conventional therapy and Budesonide Suspension for Inhalation,while the patients in the observation group were treated with Shema Oral Liquid.Both groups were treated continuously for 7 d.Results After treatment,the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score,C-reactive protein,procalcitonin,interleukin-6,the expression levels of TLR2,myeloid differentiation factor 88(MyD88),and nuclear transcription factor-κB(NF-κB),and the expression levels of TLR2,MyD88,NF-κB mRNA in the two groups significantly decreased(P<0.05),and those in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The expression levels of immunoglobulin A,immunoglobulin G,and immunoglobulin M in the two groups significantly increased(P<0.05),and those in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total clinical effective rate in the observation group was 96.15%,which was significantly higher than 80.77%in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was comparable between the observation group and the control group(13.46%vs.9.62%,P>0.05).Conclusion Shema Oral Liquid combined with Suspension for Inhalation has good clinical efficacy and safety in the treatment of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia,which can improve the clinical symptoms of children,and enhance immune function.Its mechanism may be reducing the occurrence of downstream inflammatory reactions by down-regulating the expression of the TLR2 signaling pathway.关键词
