A case report of tinea capitis in newborn

摘要
Abstract
A 28-day-old female newborn,presented with"circular lesions on scalp 10 days".Fungal microscopic examina-tion revealed mycelium positive.Fungal culture and identification confirmed the pathogen was Microsporum canis,which led to the diagnosis of tinea capitis.Topical treatment was combined with miconazole nitrate cream and 10%povidone iodine so-lution,twice a day.After one month,the fungal microscopic examination was still positive,so fluconazole tablet,3 mg·kg-1·d-1,once a day was added,after 6 weeks,the skin lesions site returned to normal.关键词
