Constructing a Syndrome Differentiation and Treatment System for Ocular Diseases Based on Liver According to the Theory of Zangxiang

Abstract
Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)emphasizes the importance of treating the root cause of diseases.Ocular diseases,although manifested in the eyes,are fundamentally related to liver.Classical texts such as the Huang Di Nei Jing(Inner Canon of the Yellow Emperor)have elaborated on the physiological and pathological relationships between liver and the eyes,providing a theoretical foundation for the treatment of ocular diseases based on liver.Although previous medical scholars have discussed this topic,their approaches lack systematicity.This paper constructs a framework for a syndrome differentiation and treatment system of ocular diseases based on liver,guided by the theory of"liver orifice"and the"five-wheels theory,"and combined with WANG Xugao's 30 methods for treating liver diseases.This system integrates the physiological and pathological characteristics of liver with the pathogenesis of ocular diseases,forming a systematic and standardized treatment model.Additionally,by using the five-wheels differentiation as the clinical basis,this syndrome differentiation and treatment system is further perfected,making it more targeted and practical.This system is applicable to internal injury-related ocular diseases and latent pathogenic changes caused by liver meridian stagnation and heat,providing new ideas and methods for the clinical treatment of ophthalmology.关键词
