Clinical Pharmacist Participated in the Treatment of a Case of Severe Pneumonia Induced by Chlamydia Psittaci Infection

Abstract
Objective To provide a reference for the treatment of severe pneumonia induced by Chlamydia psittaci infection.Methods Based on the pathogenic characteristics of severe pneumonia induced by Chlamydia psittaci infection,the clinical pharmacist reviewed literature and combined it with the characteristics of the critically ill patient,he suggested changing to an individualized treatment plan of Doxycycline Hydrochloride Tablets(oral administration)combined with Azithromycin for Injection(intravenous drip).Clinical physicians adopted this plan.Results After changing the treatment plan for 3 d,the patient's infection indicators decreased.After 7 d,the number of Chlamydia psittaci sequences decreased from 47 677 to 3 270,the effect was significant,and the condition improved.After four weeks of follow-up after discharge,the patient recovered.Conclusion The clinical pharmacist fully participate in the anti-infective treatment of severe pneumonia induced by Chlamydia psittaci infection can provide reasonable medication recommendations for clinical practice and ensure the patient's medication safety.关键词
