浅谈炙甘草汤治疗视网膜动脉阻塞
A Brief Discussion on the Use of Zhigancao Decoction in the Treatment of Retinal Ar-tery Occlusion

Abstract
Retinal artery occlusion(RAO)falls under the category of"sudden blindness"in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).Previous studies have predominantly adopted the therapeutic principle of promoting blood circulation and resolving stasis,but clinical efficacy has been suboptimal.Zhigancao Decoction,a renowned formula for strongly replenishing true Yin and unblocking Yang to restore pulse,is widely used in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.Under the principle of"treating different diseases with the same method",this paper extends the application of Zhigancao Decoction to the field of ophthalmology.Based on the theory that"the heart governs the blood vessels",it is proposed that the pathogenesis of RAO involves deficiency of Yin-blood and insufficient blood vessel filling.Zhigancao Decoction can nourish Yin,replenish blood,boost Qi,and unblock vessels,demonstrate excellent clinical efficacy in treating this condition.This article aims to expand the clinical diagnosis and treatment strategies for RAO,emphasizing the importance of assessing blood sufficiency first,followed by selecting the appropriate formula based on syndrome differentiation.The application of Zhigancao Decoction in ophthalmology validates the clinical efficacy of the Yin-nourishing and blood-replenishing method in improving retinal microcirculation disorders,providing theoretical foundations and practical references for refining the RAO treatment system.关键词
