Exploring Acupuncture Treatment for Liver-Qi Stagnation and Yin Deficiency Type Dry Eye Combined with Insomnia Based on the Theory of"Specimen Root Knot Theory"

Abstract
Insomnia,as a significant influencing factor in dry eye,is positively correlated with the pathogenesis of liver-Qi stagnation and Yin deficiency type dry eye.The theory of"specimen root knot theory"is a crucial aspect of meridian theory,revealing the importance of acupoints on the limbs in acupuncture treatment.Acupuncture has shown remarkable therapeutic effects in both dry eye and insomnia.Therefore,based on the theory of"specimen root knot theory",the authors combine adjacent acupoints with knot and symptom acupoints for nourishing the body fluids and moistening the eyes,and combine distant acupoints with stem and root acupoints for regulating and supplementing the liver and kidneys,as well as coordinate acupoints on both the head and tail with specimen and root-knot acupoints for soothing the mind and dispelling stagnation,explores the selection and combination of acupoints in acupuncture treatment for liver-Qi stagnation and Yin deficiency type dry eye with concurrent insomnia.The approach involves moistening the eyes and replenishing the liver and kidneys,complemented by promoting Qi circulation,resolving stagnation,nourishing blood,and aiding sleep,thereby harmonizing Yin and Yang,Qi,and blood,and enhancing the therapeutic effects in the treatment of dry eye.关键词
