Research on the Relationship between Dynamic and Static Air-Tightness Indices of Metro Train Using Moving Model Test

Abstract
The research on the relationship between dynamic and static air-tightness of metro trains is of great significance for train air-tightness design and passenger comfort improvement.Given the high cost of full-scale testing and the difficulty in controlling test conditions,the dynamic and static air-tightness relationship of metro trains was studied using a scaled moving model test method.A new 1∶20 scale metro train model with a sealed cabin structure and adjustable air-tightness was constructed.Static and dynamic air-tightness tests were conducted on the system.The results show that there is a power-law relationship between the static air-tightness index and the leakage area of the scaled train model,with an exponent of-1.0041.The dynamic air-tightness index of the train model increases progressively from the head car to the tail car.Under the four leakage area models,the percentage increase of the dynamic air-tightness index from the head car to the tail car rises with the leakage area,reaching 338%,391%,400%,and 580%,respectively.The dynamic and static air-tightness indices ratio of the head car measurement points is less affected by changes in the leakage area,while the ratios for the middle car and tail car measurement points increase with the leakage area.Under the four leakage area models,the dynamic and static air-tightness indices ratios of the head car,middle car and tail car fall within the range of 0.15-0.26,0.28-0.54 and 0.49-0.98,respectively.关键词
