Abstract

Prestressed resin bolts are widely used in tunnel engineering due to their superior anchoring performance and construction efficiency,yet existing research on their mechanical support characteristics remains incomplete.This study first establishes a loading model of bolt-surrounding rock-anchoring agent using the Particle Flow Method,combined with pull-out tests to analyze the influence of varying prestress levels on support stiffness,axial force distribution,and stress field diffusion mechanisms.Subsequently,a discrete-continuum coupling model is developed to investigate the evolution of stress fields in the anchoring system under different prestress magnitudes and anchoring lengths.Finally,a shear resistance numerical model is employed to evaluate the impact of prestress on the shear performance of the anchoring system,revealing force chain distributions and crack propagation characteristics during shear loading.Findings show that the support stiffness of prestressed resin bolts significantly strengthens during the initial pull-out phase,with overall stiffness surpassing non-prestressed bolts.The bearing capacity difference under varying prestress levels approximates the prestress difference.Prestress magnitude directly governs the spatial distribution of the support stress field,while excessive anchoring length inhibits effective compressive stress diffusion.When pull-out load exceeds the prestress,the prestress field dissipates.When the peak shear stress increases with the prestress,prestress facilitates the formation of a compression zone in the surrounding rock,reduces the distribution of tensile force chains between particles,delays crack initiation,and decreases the number of cracks generated in the anchoring system under the effect of identical shear stress as the prestress increases.
