Abstract
Steel slag is a difficult to treat metallurgical solid waste containing high silicon and high-speed rail,if a large amount of steel slag is used to prepare ceramsite,it is easy to cause the oxidation and precipitation of quartz phase,increase the internal stress of ceramsite,lead to cracking and reduce their strength.The experiment adds raw materials rich in calcium,magnesium,and aluminum to steel slag ceramsite with a steel slag content of 60%,and improves the performance of steel slag ceramsite by adjusting the mineral phase of the ceramsite.During this process,different raw materials are added to prepare steel slag ceramsite under different sintering temperature conditions,and the mechanism of phase control of steel slag ceramsite is studied through analysis methods such as physical property testing,X-Ray Fluorescence spectrometer(XRF),and X-Ray Diffraction(XRD).The research results indicate that adding high silicon and aluminum raw materials with a dosage of less than 30%to the steel slag ceramic body has little effect on the final mineral phase and sintering temperature of the ceramsite.However,with the increase of diopside content,the compressive strength and water absorption of ceramsite significantly improve.When 20%diopside is added to steel slag ceramsite,its performance is optimal,with a sintering temperature of 1 180℃,a flexural strength of 50.3 MPa,and a water absorption rate of 0.58%.关键词
