摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the application effect of injectable artificial bone powder combined with bone ce-ment in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures(OVCF)through a percutaneous vertebro plasty(PVP)ap-proach.Methods 108 patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures admitted to Hengshui People's Hospital from May 2021 to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 54 patients in each group.The control group received PVP surgical treatment via bone cement injection,while the observation group received PVP surgical treatment using injectable artificial bone powder combined with bone cement injection.The Cobb angle,anterior vertebral height ratio,bone density,prognosis scores,and incidence of adverse events were evaluated.Results Three months after surgery,the Cobb angle of the injured vertebrae in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group,and the anterior vertebral height ratio was greater than that in the control group(P<0.05).The bone density in the thoracic,lumbar,fem-oral neck,and total hip regions of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The VAS and ODI scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the GQOLI74 score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application effect of injectable artificial bone powder combined with bone cement in the treatment of osteopo-rotic vertebral compression fractures through PVP approach is good,which can improve the Cobb angle and anterior edge height of the injured vertebra,increase bone density,reduce pain and lumbar functional impairment,enhance the ability to perform daily activities,and improve safety.
