Abstract
Objective To visually analyze the research literature on phytoestrogen in the treatment of osteoporosis from 2003 to 2023;To explore the research status,research hotspots and development trends in this field.Methods The research literature about phytoestrogen in the treatment of osteoporosis was retrieved from CNKI,Wanfang Data and VIP from January 1,2003 to December 31,2023.The number of publications,authors,institutions and keywords were analyzed by CiteSpace 6.2.R2.Results A total of 1 209 articles were included,and the average annual number of published articles was 57.The academic teams represented by Huang Hongxing,Mo Xinmin and Li Ying published the most papers.The research institutions,such as Hunan University of Chinese Medicine published the most papers,and the institutions maintained a certain cooperative relationship within the province,but the inter-provincial cooperation was less.High-frequency keywords were"bone mineral density","Chinese materia medica","epimedium","estradiol",etc.Keywords were clustered into 10 categories,and 19 emergent keywords were detected.Conclusion This field is still in the stage of continuous development,and the research hotspot is on the mechanism.The research focus is the bioactive components of estrogen and the mechanisms of action,with a particular emphasis on the effect of phytoestrogens on bone metabolism and bone mineral density.The main active components that exert estrogenic effects are flavonoids represented by puerarin.In the future,various teams and institutions need to strengthen cooperation to promote the sustainable development of this field.关键词
