Shu Qijin's Experience in Treating EGFR-TKI-induced Gastrointestinal and Skin Symptoms from the Dampness-heat-toxin Syndrome of Huhuo Disease

Abstract
Cancer patients often experience gastrointestinal symptoms such as stomatitis,diarrhea,nausea and vomiting,loss of appetite,and skin toxicity after targeted therapy with epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors(EGFR-TKI).According to Shu Qijin,the above symptoms,when considered together,can be attributed to the TCM"Huhuo disease"category.This article discussed Shu Qijin's experience in treating EGFR-TKI-induced gastrointestinal and skin symptoms based on the dampness-heat-toxin syndrome of Huhuo disease from the perspective of symptoms,pathogenesis,and treatment.One medical case was attached to provide new ideas for the clinical treatment of EGFR-TKI-induced gastrointestinal and skin symptoms.关键词
