葛蓝消渴丸对2型糖尿病肾阴亏虚证患者心血管危险因素的影响
Effects of Gelan Xiaoke(葛蓝消渴)Pills on Cardiovascular Risk Factors in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Shenyinkuixu(肾阴亏虚)Syndrome

Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Gelan Xiaoke(葛蓝消渴)Pills on type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)in the patients with and Shenyinkuixu(肾阴亏虚)syndrome and the effects of this drug on cardiovascular risk factors.Methods:A total of 112 T2DM patients hospitalized in the Affiliated Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Southwest Medical University from April to October in 2023 were select-ed and randomized into a treatment group(56 patients)and a control group(56 patients).The patients in the control group received conven-tional Western medical treatment,while those in the treatment group received Gelan Xiaoke Pills combined with conventional Western medical treatment.Patients in both groups were treated for 12 weeks.The levels of fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2-h postprandial plasma glucose(2 hPG),glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c),fasting insulin(FINS),homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR),total cho-lesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),superoxide dis-mutase(SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),advanced oxidation protein products(AOPP),immunoglobulin A(IgA),immunoglobulin M(IgM),immunoglobulin G(IgG),complement C3(C3),complement C4(C4),and adiponectin(ADPN)were measured.The efficacy on TCM syndrome after treatment was compared between the two groups.Results:At the end of the 12-week treatment,51 patients in each group were evaluated.The total response rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The treatment in both groups decreased the total TCM syndrome score,the scores of frequent urination and cloudy urine,Wuxin-fanre(五心烦热),soreness and weakness of waist and knees,dry mouth and lips,and dry skin,and the levels of FPG,2 hPG,HbA1c,FINS,and HOMA-IR(P<0.05).Moreover,the decreases were more significant in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.01 or P<0.05).In addition,the treatment group showed lowered levels of TC,TG,LDL-C,MDA,and AOPP and elevated levels of HDL-C,SOD,GSH-Px,IgA,IgM,IgG,C3,C4,and ADPN(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Adverse events occurred in neither group during the treatment period(P>0.05).Conclusion:Gelan Xiaoke Pills combined with conventional Western medical treatment outperformed conventional Western medical treatment alone for the T2DM patients with Shenyinkuixu syndrome.The combined therapy can alleviate insulin resistance,enhance the resist-ance to oxidative stress,and regulate immunity,thereby controlling cardiovascular risk factors with high safety.关键词
