A New Paradigm for Intelligent Medicine in Gastric Cancer Care:Innovative Applications of Large Language Models Across the Clinical Workflow

Abstract
In response to persistent challenges in gastric cancer management—including low early detection rates,reliance on physician experience,and fragmented information utilization—large language models(LLMs)offer a promising avenue for clinical paradigm transformation.This study systematically explores the integration of LLMs across the entire clinical workflow,including risk identification,diagnostic support,treatment recommendations,postoperative management,follow-up optimization,and medical documentation.Drawing on real-world implementation within the Department of Gastric Surgery at Liaoning Cancer Hospital,the paper demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of LLMs in enhancing efficiency,strengthening decision-making,and improving patient outcomes,while also addressing their future potential and associated challenges in the development of intelligent medical systems.关键词
