摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the factors influencing root resorption of maxillary incisors in patients with orthodontic tooth extraction. Methods A total of 96 patients who underwent orthodontic tooth extraction in Suining Central Hospital from December 2020 to December 2023 were retrospectively included in the study. The cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT)images of each patient were retrieved before the treatment(T0)and after the treatment(T1).The change rate of the crown-root ratio before and after treatment was used to represent the root resorption ratio(RR).Through multivariate analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis, the correlation of post-orthodontic RR with gender, age, tooth root morphology, history of root resorption, history of tooth trauma, history of root canal treatment, tooth intrusion and movement,micro-implant implantation, and traction of the canines, and treatment time was explored. Results The ratio of maxillary anterior tooth root absorption was significantly higher in patients aged>18 years(OR=4.772,95%CI:1.168-19.493,P=0.030),with narrow and curved root morphology(OR=6.726,95%CI:1.464-30.901,P=0.014),history of root resorption(OR=9.154,95%CI:1.710-48.995,P=0.010),history of tooth trauma(OR=6.336,95%CI:1.092-36.757,P=0.040),and patients who used tooth compression movement(OR=20.586,95%CI:2.950-143.677,P=0.002),micro-implant implantation(OR=11.023,95%CI:1.303-93.264,P=0.028)and traction during treatment(OR=10.244,95%CI:1.134-92.521,P=0.038).The root resorption ratio of patients with a history of root canal treatment was significantly lower than that of incisors without a history of root canal treatment(OR=0.084,95%CI:0.008-0.9021,P=0.041),serving as a protective factor(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the root absorption ratio of maxillary incisors among different genders and treatment time groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Patient age>18 years old, narrow and curved root shape, history of root resorption, history of dental trauma, tooth intrusion and movement, use of micro-implants and traction canines are all risk factors for root resorption of anterior teeth in patients with subtractive tooth extraction.A history of root canal treatment is a protective factor against root resorption of anterior teeth.关键词
