Effects of Magnesium Sulfate Combined with Low Molecular Weight Dextran on Inflammation Levels and Pregnancy Outcomes in Pregnant Women with Oligohydramnios

Abstract
Objective To analyze the effect of magnesium sulfate combined with low molecular weight dextran(LMWD)on pregnancy outcomes of inflammation levels in pregnant women with oligohydramnios,and to provide innovative ideas for the clinical treatment of oligohydramnios in pregnant women.Methods A total of 126 pregnant women with oligohydramnios admitted to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department,Affiliated Hospital of Military School of Army Military Medical University from September 2022 to October 2024 were included.They were randomly divided into the magnesium sulfate group,LMWD group and magnesium sulfate combined with LMWD group using the random number table method,with 42 cases in each group.The inflammation levels of each group of pregnant women before treatment and 5 days after treatment were counted,including the white blood cell count(WBC),C-reactive protein(CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),and interleukin-6(IL-6).Pregnancy outcomes of the three groups of pregnant women were compared.Results There were no significant differences in WBC,CRP,TNF-α,and IL-6 before treatment among the three groups(P>0.05).After treatment,WBC/CRP,TNF-α,and IL-6 in the combination group were significantly higher/lower than the other two groups(P<0.05),which,in the magnesium sulfate group were higher/lower than those in the LMWD group,but no significant differences were obtained(P>0.05).Pregnancy outcomes were assessed,and the cesarean section rate,amniotic fluid meconium contamination,and neonatal asphyxia were not reported in the combined group.The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the combined group was significantly lower than the other two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Magnesium sulfate combined with LMWD can significantly improve the inflammation level of pregnant women with oligohydramnios,and has an ideal protective effect on the health of the fetus,the delivery status of pregnant women and the status of newborns.关键词
