摘要

Abstract

Large hollow shaft is widely used in various heavy lifting machinery,which needs to bear a lot of cyclic fatigue load in actual operation,and its integrity may be damaged,so there is a risk of fatigue failure.In order to accurately grasp the life information of the rotating shaft and timely eliminate the hidden danger of the crane structure,Using the extended finite element method(XFEM)of Abaqus software,a modeling and simulation of a cracked hollow shaft was conducted to study?the influence of different initial crack sizes on the stiffness of the rotating shaft.Finally,by measuring the angular displacement difference at both ends corresponding to different initial crack sizes,and comparing with the angular displacement difference of healthy rotating shaft,the stiffness change is calculated.Instead of the traditional non-destructive testing method to evaluate the initial crack size of damaged rotating shaft for calculate the residual fatigue crack life,and which achieves the health monitoring of the life of the main drive shaft for large mechanical equipment.
