Design of a WR2.8 Rectangular Waveguide Mode Converter Based on Metasurface
摘要
Abstract
In order to achieve miniaturized waveguide mode converter,a waveguide mode converter based on alumina metasurface structure is designed.The mode conversion of TE10-TE20 and TE10-TE30 in rectangular waveguide is realized by placing the metasurface at a suitable position in the waveguide.In the 300 GHz band,the simulation results show that the reflection coefficient S11 of the TE10-TE20 mode converter is less than-10 dB and the transmission coefficient S21 is more than-0.8 dB in a bandwidth of 23 GHz;while the reflection coeffi-cient S11 of the TE10-TE30 mode converter is less than-10 dB and the transmission coefficient S21 is greater than-1.16 dB in a bandwidth of 21 GHz.This design method has potential application prospect in travelling wave tube structure design and satellite-specific mode transmitter design.关键词
